Meet the Gruffalo at Peterborough libraries

ARE you brave enough to see the Gruffalo when he visits a number of city libraries next week?

The Gruffalo is a children’s book by writer and playwright Julia Donaldson, and illustrated by Axel Scheffler, that tells the story of a mouse’s walk in the woods.

A television adaptation of the book is fast becoming a Christmas favourite to rival Wallace and Gromit and The Snowman.

Vivacity Peterborough has organised half-term Gruffalo events at selected libraries next Friday and Saturday.

Enjoy listening to this wonderful story again, and take part in the Gruffalo activities. All sessions are free.

They take place on Friday, February 17, at 10am; Dogsthorpe at noon and Werrington at 2pm; Saturday, Orton at 10am, Hampton 11.30am and Central Library at 2pm.
