Folk: The Tannahills at Stamford Arts Centre

THE rich musical heritage of the Celtic people will be demonstrated by the Tannahill Weavers tomorrow (21 January).

Widely regarded as one of Scotland’s premier traditional bands, the group’s diverse repertoire spans the centuries with instrumentals, topical songs and original ballads.

The Tannahills have that unique combination of traditional melodies, rhythmic accompaniment, and rich vocals that make their performances ones to remember.

Catch them at Stamford Arts Centre tomorrow night. Tickets cost £12, doors at 8pm.

Don’t forget to book for next Friday’s Stamford Comedy Club which features John Gordillo, Nat Luurtsema and Tom Allen. Again, tickets cost £12.

Call 01780 763203 or visit www.stamfordartscentre.com to reserve your seats.
