Posh stars will send shopping centre football crazy

CHILDREN can get stuck in to a whole day of activities at Peterborough’s Serpentine Green shopping centre.

Computer games retailer GAME has arranged for two Peterborough United players to be at the centre and sign autographs from 4pm to 5pm on Thursday.

A Keepy Uppy competition will be running from 3.30pm (with some great prizes donated by Posh) and face painters will be on hand to paint Posh’s blue and white colours onto smiling faces.

GAME will also be hosting a session of FIFA 12 as part of the event, so children can try their hand at beating a professional footballer.

And the players aren’t the only special guests in Serpentine Green that day as magical children’s favourites Freya and Gumf will be there as part of a session of puppet play.

Children and adults will love the slapstick comedy of the puppets as they ride around on their funny, furry armchairs.

There will also be a free craft workshop outside Mothercare for children to learn how to make sock puppets from 12.30pm to 3pm.
