Model show for heroes at city club
Miss England will help city party goers raise money for charity at a special beauty contest this weekend.
Katrina Hodge – known as the Combat Barbie as along with her modelling career she is a former member of the British Army – will be hosting the Miss Every Model contest with Heart FM DJ Kev Lawrence at Liquid nightclub, in New Road Peterborough tomorrow night.
The contest, which will be raising money for Help For Heroes, will also see a number of guest judges, including former Miss England Lady Angelina Sinclair and Leicester Tigers rugby player Richard Blaze.
To help raise funds and awareness there will also be a number of serving soldiers helping out at the show.
A number of regional Miss England winners will also be on hand to help the evening go with a swing, and all the special guests will stay on after the show to celebrate with revellers. There will also be a performance from Peterborough street dance act The Untouchables.
Tickets are £8 in advance and £10 on the door. The show will run from 7pm until 10pm and entry to the club extends to the entire evening.
