Learn how to be a spy or a detective this half term week

SPORTS and physical activities provider Sports Xtra has lined up a wide range of events for primary school children this week.

Monday: Detective School Xperience, Werrington Leisure Centre: Children will be kitted out with full protective clothing before learning how to get into the exciting role of a chief inspector.

They will learn a range of skills, including how to read fingerprints and remove them from objects; how to make tyre tracks; and how to analyse ink.

Monday: Dance Xperience, Werrington Leisure Centre: This fun filled day is for children who love music and dance. Choreographers will teach new moves for street dance, hip-hop and chart music styles. The day ends with a short performance in front of parents.

Wednesday: Spy School Xperience, Werrington Leisure Centre: The ever popular Spy Xperience is back. Children will be given a special mission to complete after learning about gadget making, code breaking, observation skills and obstacle challenges.

Wednesday: Dance Xperience, Jack Hunt School: The choreographers return to teach some cool moves (see Monday)

Thursday: Detective School Xperience, Jack Hunt School: See Monday.

Friday: Spy School Xperience, Jack Hunt School: See Wednesday.

All these Xperience days run from 9.30am to 4pm. Extended hours are available. They are for primary school aged children, from five to 11 years old.
