BUDDING poets are being warned that the deadline to enter a poetry competition is approaching - 27th June.
BUDDING poets are being warned that the deadline to enter a poetry competition is approaching - 27th June.The Stamford branch of Oxfam is holding the poetry competition as part of the charity's annual Bookfest celebration, which takes place between Saturday, July 4, and Saturday, July 18.
The theme of the competition, is based around the four elements representing different aspects of Oxfam's work across the world, which are land rights and farming; air; fire, including issues surrounding arms control; and water, the problems millions of people have across the world accessing safe, clean water.
The competition has three age groups, under 11s, under 18s and adult.
The deadline for entries is 27th June.
