UNASHAMEDLY swinging jazz trio The Puppini Sisters will raise the curtain on Spalding South Holland Centre's autumn season.Marcella Puppini, Kate Mullins and Stephanie O'Brien combine glamour and fun in their covers of Wuthering Heights and Heart Of Glass, and will kick off a UK tour with their appearance in Spalding on Friday, September 21.

Their performance will be followed by a packed season of music, theatre and comedy, as Andrea King at the venue explained.

"This season is one of our busiest yet offering an eclectic mix of dance, music, theatre, comedy and, of course, panto," she said.

"We are delighted to welcome familiar names such as Peter and Dan Snow, The Puppini Sisters, and Georgie Fame, who are already proving popular with bookers."

Father and son team Peter (of swingometer fame) and Dan Snow will take audiences on a tour of Battlefield Britain on November 1, but not before nationally-renowned comedy brand Jongleurs hit the centre on Thursday, October 18, with some of the best stand-ups in the business.

Georgie Fame has become an icon of British music over four decades of rhythm and blues, and he will appear at the South Holland Centre on Wednesday, November 7.

Lisa's Sex Strike is an hilarious comedy from the pen of Blake

Morrison, and follows the female residents of Blackhurst as they attempt to bring order to the tense village by organising a sex strike. The play opens on Thursday, November 29.

The season will close with the venue's traditional pantomime, Snow White And The Seven Dwarves, which kicks off on December 16.
