Showcase gig for The Willow Festival announced
A TRIO of bands will help showcase The Willow Festival at a gig at Peterborough’s Club Revolution.
King Kool, pictured left, The Beautiful Sleazy and Our Glorious Demonic Heist will be airing their respective sets in aid of supporting the festival which returns to the city in May.
Willow Festival organiser Mark Ringer said: “The festival supports all types of live music, but at the heart of the event is the will to help promote original bands who deserve recognition from the music industry and the wider public.
“All three bands here are top quality and I know this is going to be a night of high quality entertainment.”
King Kool are Dan Donovan and Pas, a duo who bleed heavy grunge and are excellent live.
The Beautiful Sleazy were guests at The Willow Festival launch event and were introduced to Mark by the BBC.
Our Glorious Demonic Heist hail from Peterborough and pride themselves on putting their song writing ability ahead of any allegiances to a particular genre.
The gig is on Saturday, February 11. Doors open at 7pm and tickets cost £5.
