A range of sporting clubs for disabled people will be on show in Peterborough.
Sporting Saturday will be held on 24 January between 10am and 4pm at The Cresset, Bretton to showcase a range of activities, last year’s event saw over 600 people attend.
A wide range of inclusive sports will be available for guests to try including boxing, martial arts, tai-chi, wheelchair dance, boccia, table cricket, bokwa, football, boot camp and fitness testing, climbing wall and much more.
Along with the activities there will be a health and well-being market place.
To start the day there will be a performance by Goldhay Arts, Extreme Clowning and Unity Allstars Cheerleaders will be performing throughout the day.
The event will be opened by the Mayor of Peterborough and further special guests will be announced.
Guests will also be able to register for the new Sport England Inclusive Fund Programme.
Entrance on the day is £2, accompanying carer’s free. Food and drink will be available to buy.
