I have often wondered what the conversation was about in today’s main photo showing policeman David Harvey and youngster Chris Goodman.
It has to be one of my favourite images from yesteryear taken down Bridge Street, which I am focusing on again today.
David, Chris, if you are reading this get in touch, I would love to hear from you!
Bridge Street has always been very popular with buskers and street artists, so I have chosen a couple from my collection. Anyone remember the lady with the whistle or the guitarist - who interestingly both have dogs?
Or what about the artist painting on the pavement - they always draw a crowd?
The two young girls holding flowers look very much like sisters. I wonder what the occasion was?
And finally, a couple of shots taken outside a shop holding a sale.
It is clearly a shoe shop - and proving very popular - but does anyone recognise it? (Or anything else in these photos...)
