Parnwell fun day in July
A FUN day for Parnwell residents will be held on Saturday, July 25, at Club Caliente, in Parnwell.
A FUN day for Parnwell residents will be held on Saturday, July 25, at Club Caliente, in Parnwell.The activities will start in the car park at 10am, with stalls and a car boot sale.
At 2pm, there will be various dance displays, a fire service demonstration, and police will be on hand to give out crime prevention advice.
A barbecue, serving foods from around the world, will be set up at 7.30pm, and there will also be a bar and disco in the evening.
The day has been organised by Parnwell Residents association and sponsored by Fair Share Lottery, and Sainsbury's of Oxney Road.
Alongside the fun day, preparations for the annual Parnwell in Bloom competition are nearly complete.
Judging for the garden competition will be held on Thursday, July 22 and Friday, July 23.
All front gardens are eligible and back garden entries must be submitted, with cash prizes for winners.
