Improve cycling skills at East of England Showground
YOUNG cyclists can develop their riding skills and techniques during a special half-term activity.
The Go-Ride road and time trial coaching sessions – organised by British Cycling – return to the Peterborough East of England Showground on Monday and Thursday.
Youngsters aged between eight and 16 have the chance to team up with the experts to improve their general bike skills, as well as learn various techniques to help make cycling even more fun while staying safe.
Exec Peterborough and East of England Showground events co-ordinator Felicity Adams said: “The Go Ride coaching sessions provide young cyclists with the opportunity to improve their riding skills and techniques in a safe and secure environment while having fun learning something they enjoy.”
To take part, cyclists need a road-racing bike with dropped handlebars and a cycling helmet.
The day-long session costs £10 and places must be booked in advance by calling Alison Lilley on 07983 809120 or e-mailing alisonlilley@britishcycling.org.uk
