Enjoy strawberry tea with club

WERRINGTON and District Flower Club is inviting the local community to a Strawberry Tea on Saturday, July 4.

WERRINGTON and District Flower Club is inviting the local community to a Strawberry Tea on Saturday, July 4.The venue will be 13 David's Close, Werrington, where there will be stalls and a raffle, among other entertainment.

The event will run from 2pm to 5pm, and tickets cost 5 in advance or on the door, which pays for your tea.

Church hosts flower festival

ST John's Church, in Church Street, Werrington will be open from 2pm until 5pm on Saturday and Sunday for its Flower Festival.

The theme is Celebrating Community.

All are welcome and the church says many local groups and businesses will be present.

The church is also holding a 6.30pm service on the Sunday, and is inviting Werrington workers and residents to come and Celebrate Community.

Village centre's free tea event

WERRINGTON Church is hosting a free summer tea afternoon on Thursday, July 2,

It takes place from 2.30pm to 4.30pm, in Werrington Village Centre, Church Street.
