Bretton Friendship Group is looking to boost numbers and get more people in the area involved.
Bretton Friendship Group is looking to boost numbers and get more people in the area involved.The group meets every Tuesday from 10.30pm until 2.30pm at the Pyramid Community Centre and the cost is 2.50.
For that you received tea and coffee along with a hot two- course meal.
Helper at the group Vicky McLennan said they already had about 30 people on their books, but had plenty of room for more.
She said: "We want to get away from the idea that it is a lunch club as we have games, bingo, quizzes and other entertainment as well.
"It's a really sociable group and it is affiliated with Age Concern so the backing is there."
