ENJOY an evening of Jimi Hendrix when one of the best tribute bands around – Are You Experienced – play at The Park on Sunday.Formed in 1996 by John Campbell, the on-stage resemblance is there for all to see.

And with showmanship that harks back to Jimi’s late ’60s performances, even the most ardent fan would raise a wry smile.

John has appeared on radio and TV, wowing the audience with his voice and style.

With his unique visual playing style, bass guitarist Mark Arnold has also played in various bands over the years and provides a solid foundation as one half of the rhythm section.

Drummer and backing vocalist Kevin O’Grady completes the line up.

The band are proud to be playing the timeless music of Jimi Hendrix, providing some nostalgic moments for those lucky people who actually witnessed Jimi in the flesh and recreating some of the magic for a new and eager audience.

Let the band take you through all the favourites such as Hey Joe, Voodoo Chile and All Along The Watchtower.

l Also at The Park this weekend are The Ground Hogs tonight (tickets 12) and Terror tomorrow (tickets 10).

Tickets for Sunday night’s gig cost 7 in advance from www.thepark4music.com, or 10 on the doors. First band 8pm.
