(Virgin) This is a hugely enjoyable off-the-wall outing from the godfather of punk.

(Virgin) This is a hugely enjoyable off-the-wall outing from the godfather of punk. Crooning, often in French, over hazy, lazy, jazzy songs is a strange departure for the man responsible for such pounding rock masterpieces as Lust For Life, yet somehow it works. Imagine Tom Waits crossed with Charles Aznavour.
