LEAD singer for The Wonder Stuff, Miles Hunt, will lead a special acoustic show at Stamford's Corn Exchange tomorrow night (Saturday, 29 November).Hunt, and former band member Erica Nockalls, will perform stripped down versions of classic tracks from The Wonder Stuff, as well as their own new material.

During the past 20 years The Wonder Stuff have notched up five Top 20 albums and played to hundreds of thousands of people throughout the UK.

The band's best known tracks are The Size Of A Cow and Dizzy (featuring Vic Reeves). To make the current tour special, 2008 is the 20th anniversary of the band's debut The Eight Legged Groove Machine.

Since the end of 2006 The Wonder Stuff's touring has taken a back seat to Hunt and Nockalls' acoustic duo, Hunt having now become something of a raconteur.

The duo perform songs from Hunt's entire career as well as selections from his third solo album, Not An Exit, recorded with Nockalls and Andres Karu in 2007.

Miles recounts stories of life on the road, tales from The Wonder Stuff and life in general.

Erica brings a new dimension to set, playing fiddle on The Wonder Stuff songs as well as on songs that have never featured fiddles before.

Support on the night comes from The Lounge.

Tickets cost 12. To book, call 01780 766455 or 01780 754829. Entry is from 7.15pm.
