The Evening Telegraph's guide to what to do in the next 24 hours: music, film, culture, theatre and events.1. FILM NIGHT
The girls at 24 would pay to see George Clooney stacking shelves, and so a showing of Leatherheads (PG) at Stamford Arts Centre tonight and tomorrow is more than welcome. The show starts at 8pm both nights, tickets cost 5.50, and can be booked by calling 01780 763203 or visit www.stamfordartscentre.com.
2. ABOUT ANGLIA
Treat yourself with a visit to a stunning exhibition by local artist Ruth Robotham currently showing at Peterborough Museum. Ruth's East Anglian Landscapes allow you to immerse yourself in the tranquil beauty of the Fen landscapes. Ruth's exhibition runs until July 20 at the museum, in Priestgate. Call 01733 343329 or visit www.peterboroughheritage.org.uk.
3. LYRICAL
Get down to The Glass Onion tonight for some spoken word action from linguistic virtuoso Scroobius Pip. Best known as one half of Dan Le Sac and Scroobius Pip, the performance poet will head up the third Speakeasy event at the venue, organised by poet Keely Mills and the city's poet laureate Mark Grist. Kicking off at 8pm, the event will also feature Chris Todd and MC Mixy. Entry costs 3 at the door
4. HAVE A GO
Fancy yourself something of a singer-songwriter? Then why not get down to Goodbarns Yard tonight for the venue's free open mic night. The music kicks off at about 8pm, and everyone is welcome to have a go.
5. 60S LEGENDS
Grab your ticket for two of the '60s most seminal bands when The Zombies and The Yardbirds take to the stage at The Broadway Theatre.
These two iconic bands share equal billing on Friday night for a gig that promises to deliver much more than a nostalgic re-tread of past glories. Tickets, costing 24.50, are available by calling 01733 316100, or at www.thebroadwaytheatre.co.uk.
See Friday's Guide for an exclusive interview with Colin Blunstone of The Zombies
