We visited the city's recent jobs fair and asked: "How is recruitment going in the current jobs market?"
Shane Wilcock, aged 28, from Jobs Today, said: "Some professions are buoyant at the moment, while others, such as construction are down, so, overall, things are pretty even."

Emma Lipton, aged 23, from Peterborough Regional College, said: "Jobs in teaching are very buoyant at the moment because of the high demand."

Dan Mumby, aged 36, from the Royal Bank of Scotland, said: "We are finding continual recruitment is the norm at the moment, and we are not finding any problem filling our courses."

Julia Meyer, aged 21, of Meyer-Scott Recruitment, said: "We are finding there are lots of good quality candidates around at the moment looking for good quality jobs."
