PETERBOROUGH Diamonds Under 14s staged a spirited fightback to overturn a 2-1 half-time deficit and beat Bishop's Stortford 6-3 in a Cambridge League match.
Diamonds were slow to start and after 15 minutes had fallen 2-0 behind.
Louise Burgess pulled one back before manager Dean Steward and coach Kev Gardiner worked wonders with their half-time teamtalk.

Peterborough Ladies had the Nicholls family to thank for their latest 3-0 victory at Royston Town as Donna Nicholls bagged a brace and Lou Nicholls notched a solo strike.
The city side took just a minute to score their first goal when Claire Knibbs' through-ball allowed Donna Nicholls time and space to place the ball calmly in the back of the net.
Peterborough continued their relentless pressure and were rewarded when Donna Nicholls raced clear to score her second from close range.
Peterborough even missed a penalty when Lisa White was upended in the box but the normally clinical finisher placed the ball wide of the goal.
After the break, Peterborough pressed forward and a great move with Stacie Gross out right allowed Lou Nicholls to hit the top corner of the Royston goal with a high power shot from 18 yards out.
Peterborough Diamonds Under 11s had hot shot Elizabeth Steele firing on all cyclinders as she hit five for her side in their 9-1 win over Histon Town.
Other goals came from Georgia Clarke (2), Natasha Anderson and Brandi Davies.
PETERBOROUGH Azure Ladies got back on the right track on Sunday with a 1-0 win over Mansfield Town, Samara Iredale scoring the only goal of the game.
The scoreline flattered Mansfield, who were subjected to intense pressure throughout. Azure had 16 corners, hit the post and bar and had a good penalty appeal turned down.
"Even the referee said we should have scored six goals," said Azure team boss Steve Jason.
POSH Girls Under 11s remain undefeated in the Cambs S-Tech League after beating Sawtry Colts 5-2.
The early signs were good for Posh as Megan Parrett quickly smashed in the first goal.
Sawtry levelled halfway through the first half only to concede a Keir Perkins strike in the dying seconds as Posh took a 2-1 advantage into the break.
Sawtry levelled again at the start of the second period but Posh linked well with each other to confidently close out the match with goals from Megan Parrett, Alessia Mundo and a wonderful, looping, top corner effort from captain Kim Lane.
