Local rivals clash in FA Women's Cup

THERE is a mouthwatering FA Women's Cup clash between the two leading lights of the local ladies scene this weekend.
Peterborough Ladies and Peterborough Azure will do battle in a preliminary round tie at Woodlands, Castor on Sunday (2pm kick-off).

Last Sunday, Azure suffered a 7-2 defeat at Mansfield Town in the East Midlands Premier Division. Aimee Syms hit both Azure goals.



SAWTRY Colts have introduced a girls development centre for the new season which will give girls aged between four and eight the opportunity to learn basic football skills and techniques for free. Places are offered free of charge thanks to sponsorship from Yaxley-based company Produce World. Anyone interested should e-mail Steve Purnell at steve.purnell@sawtrycolts.org
