THE two latest Peterborough Specsavers Mini Soccer Conference League tournaments produced Under 7 football at its best.
The first saw Werrington Athletic come out on top after winning four and drawing their other match.

William Tilbrook scored four goals and was ably supported by Nathaniel Cureton (2) and Ben Parry.

Netherton were the day's top scorers though, notching eight goals in their three wins. James Barber showed he was a cut above the rest with a stylish performance as he scored seven of the eight goals, Shaun Bradley scoring the other.

Deeping Rangers were the draw specialists with three of their five matches ending in stalemate. Joe Evison scored three goals and Ryan Olbromski one.

The second tournament saw Peterborough Boys show their quality with five wins out of five.

They netted goals galore with Jay Whyatt scoring six, Jake Battersby five, Fowler Edwards three and Taylor Steward one.

Evison continued where he left off in the previous session with a personal haul of four goals in one match and a further three on the day gave him seven and his 10th for the month.

The next session is on Saturday. For details contact Julie Morton on 07968 508238.
