UNDER 13
SUPER Saints Wisbech St Mary are now one game away from a glorious treble after another wonderful winning week.

First Mark Miller's county and league cup winners beat close rivals Stanground 5-1 away from home on Friday night thanks to goals by T
om Westerman (2), Daniel Symons, Connor Pilbeam and an own goal.

Then the St Mary boys went goal-crazy against Woodston with a 14-1 thrashing putting them within a single point of the Division One title.

Westerman hit six with Symonds (4), Mark Hardwick (2), Pilbeam and an own goal doing the rest of the damage against wobbly Woodston.

Now Miller will lead his very merry men to Deeping on Sunday for a do-or-die clash with the Lincolnshire lads who themselves still have an outside chance of the title.

Miller said: "The Stanground game was the big one for us as they have pushed us hard all season. We played superbly and I do not think too many teams will bang in five at their place as we managed.

"Obviously against Woodston it was a little bit easier for us but we still had a job to do and the lads did it in some style in the end with Westerman getting a double hat-trick.

"But it is still far from over, we play Deeping tonight and again on Sunday. We need just a point from those games to make sure but if we lose them both then they will win the title but we are in excellent form and go to Outgang Road full of confidence.

"To win the that particular final would be a great achievement and a real testament to a cracking group of players."
