THE newly re-formed Peterborough Schools side (formerly Peterborough Boys) made a winning return to action with a 7-1 thumping of Great Yarmouth at the weekend.
There has been no representative school team in the city for many years but this season a side has been entered in the English Schools Under 15 Trophy. And any concerns that they would struggle were quickly put to bed as Yarmouth were put to the sword at Chestnut Avenue on Saturday. The goals were scored by Joey Yeboah (3), Reece Currie, Rhys Howden, Ashley Watson and Liam Morgan.

Peterborough now face Leicester away in the next round.
