PSV complete first part of the treble
UNDER 18
PSV completed the first part of a possible trophy treble when winning the Division One title with two wins in three days.
Despite being hit by countless injuries which have stripped the squad to the bare bones, Neil Cotton's weary warriors beat Deeping 4-1 at Outgang Road last Tuesday before drawing 1-1 at Stamford with just 10 men to make mathematically sure of the crown.
Two goals for Ashley Cotton and one apiece for Daniel Clements and Josh Orange got the job done at Deeping while a solitary Jake Wilson hit secured the vital point at Stamford.
Cotton said: "It has been a great effort from the boys especially as events seem to have been working against us. Against Deeping we lost our left-back Brady Roberts for much of the game and took on Stamford with only 10 men.
"Hopefully I will have a few players back from injury for the weekend as we have Yaxley in the PFA Cup final on Sunday before taking on Stamford in the League Cup final next week."
