ANOTHER team on the up are Northborough who made sure of second spot in Division Three with a 6-1 win against Eye.

Goals for Alex Mantaleris, Oliver Davies, Adam Edwards, Connor Gillett, Jordan Graham and an own goal saw Northborough beat Peterborough Boys to the last remaining promotion spot with a game to spare.

And that means the last fixture of the season should provide a rare opportunity for goalkeeper Dale Hunnings.

Assistant manager Andy Hannan said: "We are delighted to be going up and with a bit of work I think we could be okay as the boys have been gelling well together this season.

"Winning it with one game still to go also means that a few of our players who have not scored will get a chance against Sawtry - including my goal keeper Dale. So we are all hoping he can get a few goals to round off a great campaign."
