Villagers took a step back in time when they helped to stage a wartime re-enactment.
Residents of Holme, near Peterborough, brought daily life during the Second World War back to the future during a two-day festival.
The event got into full swing with a 1940s' style dance in the village on Friday night.
The following day, members of re-enactment group the 1st American Airborne Association, kitted out in military regalia, put on a variety of displays in the village, from military checkpoints to shows of vintage vehicles.
There were also wartime shops, actors on walkabout in uniform, tank rides, and a vintage bus tour of the village, which took in the former RAF Glatton base.

The event was based largely around Holmewood Hall, which was a secret headquarters for American intelligence in the training and supply of spies and munitions behind enemy lines.
Attention to detail is everything in such an event, and organisers even ensured the village's signposts were '40s style.
Afterwards, secretary of the organiser of Life on the Holme Front group Amanda Gibbons said: "A lot of villagers took part in the event, which we staged to help bring the history of the village back to life.
"There has been some very good feedback, and we are very pleased with its success."
