The East Of England Championships were held at Orton Longueville Secondary School on Saturday and Sunday (4th & 5th October), with dancers travelling from as far afield as Scotland and London to take part in the prestigious event.
The competitors, aged from just five years old to dancers in their 20s, were all hoping to wow the judges with their fancy footwork and rhythm, which was made famous by the Riverdance and Michael Flatley stage shows.
The annual competition is organised by the Stanley Carroll School of Dancing, based in Peterborough and Bedfordshire.
Teacher at the school Declan Carroll said: "The Peterborough youngsters have been doing really well, and have picked up a few trophies.

The competitions saw about 15 dancers take to the stage, and judges, who had travelled from across the country and from Ireland, marked each youngster on their ability and skill.
Mr Carroll said: "This is a very prestigious competition, and we take it very seriously.
"We will look at how things have gone straight after the festival has finished, but preparations will begin in earnest in the spring."
Stanley Carroll classes take place on Thursday and Friday evenings at Nene Valley Primary School, in Sugar Way.
