Thousands of angling enthusiasts demonstrated just why the sport remains one of the most popular leisure activities in the world.
Fishing fans from far and wide made their way to Peterborough's Embankment to sample the weekend's activities, demonstrations and events.
The centrepiece of the show was a large demonstration pool, which celebrity angler Bob Nudd used to demonstrate some tips on improving course fishing skills.
Some of the land's best anglers then took part in the Angling Times Team Championship Final on the River Nene yesterday afternoon.
Martin Lee travelled from Polebrook, near Oundle, to take his 13-year-old son Steve to Saturday's demonstration day.
Mr Lee said: "Steve really wanted to spend his birthday money on some new tackle.
It's almost the school holidays, so he will be going fishing quite a lot.
"It's a good day out, there's lots to see and do. It's not all about fishing, there is music as well."
