THE senior Phantoms side may be enjoying one of their best starts to the season in years but the juniors are faring less well in their respective leagues.
While the Under 10s are still to get their campaign underway - their first match is in Milton Keynes this Saturday - the Under 12s have enjoyed a torrid time so far.

After losing their first game 11-1 at home to Guildford, Carl Stripling's side were beaten 31-0 at Bracknell before losing their last game to Cardiff 5-0.

The Under 14s meanwhile did win their first match of the season 4-1 against Guildford but since then have only picked up a draw in their next three games.

For the Under 16s a 5-2 away loss to Swindon is their only result so far while the Under 18s have been faring a little better under Steve Maile with a 20-0 win in their first game of the season against Romford.

And after losing their next game in Cardiff 7-3, the Under 18s could well receive a boost this Saturday at home to Guildford (face-off 4.30pm).

Coach Maile said: "We hope to have Grant Bignell, Thomas Jefferey and Damien King from the senior Phantoms side available for our game which will give us a real boost.

"Our aim is to try and win the league this season so a win against Guildford is important.

"I know I have the players to do it and we hope to put in a cracking performance at the Peterborough Arena on Saturday."
