Peterborough Phantoms' pre-season plans have been hit due to cup clashes north of the border.
Patterson's side had been due to play Northern Ice Hockey League teams the Dundee Stars and Solway Sharks this month but due to Scottish Ice Hockey Association Cup fixtures the games have now been cancelled.

The Bretton-based side will now play Chelmsford Chieftains at home on Saturday (face-off 7.30pm) before a trip to the home of the former EPL outfit in Essex the following night.

Discussions are also taking place with other clubs with a view to arranging more friendly fixtures the following weekend.
