CITY of Peterborough Ladies recorded a fourth straight East Division One North win to move up to fifth in the table.
Tina Hings followed up a short corner striker to give City the lead at lowly Lincoln and Jess Jacobs sealed the three points with a fine individual goal.

City have now overtaken Bourne who slumped to a predictable 4-0 loss at unbeaten leaders Dereham.

March moved up to third place in Division Two North after a hard-fought 2-1 win over Bourne seconds. March beat the same opposition 9-1 earlier in the season, but had to settle for goals from Katie Rodger and Lauren Oakman this time around.

The men's East League resumes in earnest next weekend, but a few teams caught up some postponed fixtures from before Christmas.

A debut goal for Simon Trivett and an Ian Craig strike enabled Bourne seconds to come back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 against Cambridge University 3rds in Division Three North West.

And in Division Seven Simon Laws (2), Ross Ambler (2) and David Haslegrave scored the goals as March fifths beat Rutland thirds 5-3.

City of Peterborough came from 2-0 down to beat Pelicans 3-2 in the Veterans League. Tom Megginson, Ian Kennedy and first-team player-manager Adam Drake were the scorers.

In friendly action Arran Nicholls grabbed a hat-trick as City sixths beat Winchmore Hill seconds 4-3.
