PEOPLE are being encouraged to sign up to have a flu jab at a Peterborough city centre chemist next month.
Boots, in Queensgate, will be giving customers who would not normally be given the injection by their GPs the chance to have the immunisation.

The sessions will be held at the store on October 16, 17, 18, 23, 24 and 25, between 10am and 2pm, costing £15.

Pharmacy manager Alistair Huong said: "This is perfect for people who would not have the injection.

"We are already seeing some cold weather, and expect a number of cases over the winter.

"This is also a great opportunity for large companies to avoid lots of people missing work through sickness."

People who wish to have the injection need to book in advance.

You can book an injection in store, or by calling 01733 314866.
