The festival's finale will take place at The Embankment from Friday, July 4 and Saturday, July 5, and will include a very special theatrical display and an outdoor screening of a cult classic.
The banks of the River Nene next to the Key Theatre will be the venue for Hydromania on Friday, July 4, from 8pm.
Hydromania is a unique theatrical spectacular of water fountains and pyrotechnics, combined with live music and comic performance. The show will feature the talents of the amazing human fountain The Spurting Man, his comical assistant and students from Peterborough Regional College. Admission to the evening of is free of charge.
On Saturday July 5, festival-goers are invited to put on their glad rags and head to the Embankment for this year's
fantastic festival finale, which features an open-air screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. The film will follow a special warm-up on stage with live music, where you'll be able to learn how to Hot Patootie and take a step to the left with The Time Warp. The film starts at 9pm, and is certificate 12.
Admission to the open-air screening is free of charge.
Prior to the open air performance, Rocky Horror fans will have the opportunity to meet the Patricia Quinn at the Key Theatre, from 7.15pm. Patricia is the original Magenta of stage and screen, and the owner of the famous red lips which appear over the beginning credits.
