Music fans were in for a treat at the annual Battle Proms, held in the magnificent grounds of Burghley House, in Stamford on Saturday (12 July).
The New English Concert Orchestra, conducted by Douglas Coombes, performed Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture and Beethoven's Battle Symphony.
More traditional proms favourites, including Jerusalem, Rule Britannia and Land of Hope and Glory, were followed by the event's famous spectacular firework display.
