HE may be only three foot high and if he had run for the American Presidency it would not have been on a ticket of "change" but more likely "more amusement parks".
But despite the differences in height, age and outlook, Peterborough can now boast its own Barack Obama look-a-like – in the shape of three-year-old Gramos Huxha Junior.
In scenes straight out of the campaign fever seen in the USA this month people have been stopping the youngster in the streets near his Axiom Avenue home and commenting on his likeness to the President-elect.
But the pint-sized Peterborough president has, however, taken all the attention in his stride and showed himself to be a little "man of the people" by even taking time out from nursery to pose outside the town hall for The Evening Telegraph.

His mother, Marie Salim, said: "It's been unbelievable. Everywhere we go people have been saying he looks like a mini-Barack. When he has a certain look on his face he is the spitting image and like Barack he has an aptitude for languages. Barack can speak seven and Gramos three, French, English and Arabic, but he is still only three."

When asked if he was in charge for the day, the fastidious youngster who only wears shoes and refuses to wear trainers, said his changes would be easy.
Instead of fast-food US citizens would be encouraged to tuck into his favourite Caribbean food, so jerk chicken would replace hot-dogs and pizza as the staple diet.
And rather than the White House, if he was the mini-leader of the free world, Gramos would much prefer to conduct business from Disneyworld, home of his beloved fairground-style rides.
But for now all hopes of future world domination and politics have to be put to one side as the youngster has more pressing engagements, such as getting ready for Christmas at Peterborough High Nursery.
And mini-Barack is not the only look-a-like the city can boast.
Just recently, Werrington's Howard Brown (60) has been fooling the great and good with his uncanny similarity to Fabio Capello.
