BUDDING Steven Spielbergs and Tom Cruises got their red carpet moment during the final night of a glittering Oscar style award ceremony in the city last night.
Last night it was the turn of primary school pupils to showcase their talents and dress to impress at The Peterborough Children's Film Awards at the Broadway Theatre ceremony.

The evening was hosted by Star Wars, Harry Potter and Chronicles of Narnia star Warwick Davis, who welcomed the hundreds of children and teachers to the evening, before, in true Hollywood style he introduced the first set of clips from the nominated films.

And after the winners of each award had been on stage to collect their prize, they were ushered away to pose for the waiting photographers.
