www.peterboroughtoday.co.uk/bandsIs there a film star, pop star, artist or writer you admire? And why . . .Jude Law, just because he's sooooo freakin' hot! Really though, it's the drummer from Incubus, Jose Parsillas. Why? Everything about him, his musicianship, his art work, his look and he's a funny guy.
Is there a TV programme you couldn't live without? No. I don't watch much TV but The Simpsons comes top of the pile.
Do you remember the first record you bought – what was it, and where did you buy it? Blood Sugar Sex Magic by Red Hot Chili Peppers, from HMV in Peterborough. I was 11, so my dad had to hand the money over at the counter because of the all swearing on it. I've recently got the T-shirt as a birthday present!
Tell us about a recent discovery . . . something you've seen or heard recently that you would recommend . . .
The White Stripes' Icky Thump is a great album. I wasn't really interested in The White Stripes before this but now I very much rate Jack White.
Tell us about any guilty pleasures lurking in your CD or film collections – something you know is a bit rubbish but you just can't help yourself.
I've bought a few Robbie Williams CDs in my time. To be honest, they're collecting dust, but Michael Jackson's Bad gets a regular airing. I'm also a sucker for the film Big Daddy with Adam Sandler.
Do you have a favourite film? Jaws. I've loved sharks since I can remember, but the film is just amazing. The contrast between the three characters on the boat is transfixing, and they all have some of the best one-liners in the history of film . . . "Never go swimmin' with bow-legged women" – I live my life by that rule.
And how about a favourite album?Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band – a massive breakthrough in pop music and all recorded on four tracks . . . get your head around that! It was John, Paul, George and Ringo at their most creative as a unit.
And a favourite book?Wayne Rainey's autobiography – he's one of the all-time greats in motorcycle racing, the man's bloody mindedness and sheer determination is incredible.
Is there a song or individual piece of music you always come back to?Circles, by Incubus.
