Hamptons: Funding for pool project

A HAMPTON-based charity has won new lottery funding to trial its outdoor classroom resources at a site in Peterborough – home to Europe's largest great crested newt colony.
The new Ponds for Life project funding means that Froglife – the national charity that helps run the O&H-owned Hampton Nature Reserve – will be able to hone its educational resources, providing information and guidance to teachers on how best to incorporate amphibians and reptiles into the national curriculum, through field trips and classroom-based activities.

Home to four amphibian species and three reptiles, Hampton Nature Reserve is perfectly placed for learning about amphibians and reptiles.
