Cambridgeshire and Peterborough employers who encourage their staff to think green when travelling to work could win an award.
The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Workplace Travel Plan Awards later this year will see companies receive certificates and awards according to the level of progress they have made in adopting policies and providing facilities that encourage their staff to travel to work on foot, bike, by public transport or through car sharing.

Acting Travelchoice team manager for Peterborough City Council Nicola Francis said: "Employers can be the catalyst that encourages many more people to opt for alternatives to driving to work."

The deadline for applications is 5pm on September 5.
