I think they brighten up the totally dull Fen landscapes. They add a bit of colour to the otherwise flat and boring views of endless fields.

I think they could look a heck of a lot worse.
As someone who has been in heavy industry most of his working life, compared to most industrial sites I think they look graceful and can be almost hypnotic to watch.
They are certainly better looking than coal-fired power stations at any rate!

What landscape?

Yes they liven up the dull flats and square factory warehouses that you see on most of our horizons no end. They are also prettier then energy pylons which we accept without question.

I think they are rather beautiful...

They should be built out at sea or on the marshes so they do not impact upon the environment. It is a good thing they are not yet at the epidemic proportion as in Spain yet. Whilst driving from Gibraltar to Cadiz and Jerez there are, quite literally, thousands of the monstrosities along that coast !

Somewhat more aesthetically pleasing than the War of the Worlds metal monstrosities marching over the landscape.

(Electric Pylons)

I don't think they are "monstrosities". I'm sure, in the past, people would have said the same about electricities pylons and posts litering the landscape - and turbine are much more aesthetically pleasing than those lumps of wood/metal.

Bodie - don't talk shart.
