A VERITABLE treasure trove of collectibles will be at the East of England Showground this weekend for the Peterborough Festival of Antiques.
The twice-yearly event – which runs today and tomorrow – is now in its ninth year, and has become an essential diary date for those interested in antiques.

The show contains a spectacular array of antiques and collectibles for sale within four permanent buildings, trade marquees and outdoor pitches.

In the main arena, items such as jewellery, china, stamps, miltitaria, linen and toys, are on display.

The NatWest Building have stalls containing furniture, fine art and anything else that is old and requires a little more space to display it.

The Cambridge Suite contains many rare high quality pieces.

Finally, the new executive centre, will have a good mixture of furniture and ceramics on display.

The event is open from 10am until 4.30pm today, and from 9am to 4.30pm tomorrow. Admission for adults costs £4 and £3 for senior citizens.
