US ska-punkers Reel Big Fish top the heavy roster of metal and rock bands playing in Peterborough over the coming months.
Reel Big Fish are no strangers to the city, and will be playing tracks from their latest album Fame, Fortune and Fornication – a collection of 10 cover songs.
Reel Big Fish were one of the more successful bands to emerge in the third-wave ska explosion of 1997.
The ska-punk act formed in Huntington Beach as a trio consisting of vocalist/guitarist Aaron Barrett, bassist Matt Wong and drummer Andrew Gonzales.
Reel Big Fish soon developed into a ska act, going through many early horn players before solidifying with Scott Klopfenstein, Grant Barry and Dan Regan and Travis Werts.
The band play at The Cresset on Thursday, 12 February. Tickets cost £14 in advance from
www.justwhatyouwantconcerts.co.uk or by calling 01733 265705.
