There are also quizzes at The Nags Head, Eastrea, at 7 30pm; The Vine, in Coates, at 8pm, £1 per person, and The Blue Bell, in Werrington, at 9pm.

3. Get Fit
Healthy body, healthy mind, so the saying goes, so why not head down to Stanground College's Sports Centre and for an hour of circuit training between 6pm and 7pm?
This offers the ultimate cardio and strength workout. Great for both men and women, £4 per session.
For more information, call 01733 568797 or visit www.stangroundcollege.co.uk

4. Live music: We Are Scientists
Reach for the phone, because you'd be mad to miss out on the opportunity to see up-and-coming We Are Scientists play The Cresset on August 21.
The band are fresh from touring with the Kaiser Chiefs – bag a ticket while you can.
The show starts at 7.30pm, tickets cost £14, and can be booked on 01733 265705 or visit www.cresset.co.uk.

5. For Mums And Babies
