Members: Mosman (Rapper), Fingers Smith (Lead Singer/Guitar), Lorenzo De Feo, aka the Funkt up Worm (Bass), Mike Wilson, aka Hot Mike (Second Guitarist), Paul Arnold aka Lemon Fresh (Keyboard/percussion), and Alex Sunshine Cooper (Drums).
Information: From their beginnings as a straight hip-hop outfit Fugazirum have developed into a full band that effortlessly fuses blues and rap to deliver a sound that pre-empts that made popular by the likes of Mark Ronson.
With catchy hooks to move dance floors and a politicised lyrical content, all delivered with a wry smile, Fugazirum have been heating up live venues and airwaves alike. Alongside a slew of low-key, up close and personal shows, this year performing at the Blissfields Festival, they played a headlining slot at the Secret Garden Party with such success they been invited back again for 2008. Fugazirum have also been featured on local and national radio including play on BBC radio's 1Xtra.
With releases such as their "Black and Suspicious"E.P. and the "Red Album" bubbling through the
underground and garnering critical praise from a variety of publications, Fugazirum forthcoming "Black & Blues" E.P. looks to be their first debut Commercial release later this year.With the Video for "So Wrong" which can be found on Myspace and YouTube which was shot early this year.
Together since: 2004 in the current Blues / Hip Hop / Alternative line up.
