Band name: Columbian Necktie

From: Peterborough
Members: Neil Saunders, guitar and vocals; Tom Seymour, drums; Ben Hackney, bass

Information:
Ben explains: "We met at school and starting playing dodgy cover songs with a few hidden gems in between. Then after years of doing different things musically, we got together again to form CN in it's current guise and started getting regular gigs in and around the city. We recorded our first three-track EP entitled In 4D. Currently, we're concentrating on getting through the semi finals of MTV's Get Seen Heard competition, playing more new venues, and preparing to record our second EP in the coming months."

Together since: "The lovely month of April 2006."

Influences: Primus, thisGIRL, Frank Zappa, Biffy Clyro and anything by Peter Engel

Next gig: February 23 at Peterborough's Xoo Bar, Priestgate.

Listen to: Accidents and Allergies
