Please note: Entries are limited to two categories per company/organisation.

The categories:

Business Of The Year – Large
Awarded for exceptional performance in profitability and impact on the economy over the last 12 months. Turnover should be more than £10 million.
Business Of The Year – Medium
Awarded for exceptional performance in profitability and impact on the economy over the last 12 months. Turnover should be between £2 million and £10 million.
Business Of The Year – Small
Awarded for exceptional performance in profitability and impact on the economy over the last 12 months. Turnover should be up to £2 million.
Business Person Of The Year
Awarded for exceptional personal contribution to the success of a company.
Customer Care Plus
Awarded to businesses providing more than simply good customer service or satisfaction. It rewards firms that show how they put their customers at the heart of everything they do.
Contribution To The Community
This award will be given to the business which honours the tradition of putting something back into the community.
PEOPLE development
Awarded for demonstrating a real commitment to the training and personal development of employees.
Environmental Achievement
Companies must demonstrate a commitment to environmental sustainability and, in doing so, a contribution to Peterborough’s growing reputation as the UK’s Environmental Capital City.
Retail Award
Businesses must demonstrate the highest standards of customer care, after-sales service and quality control.
