The categories:
- Business Of The Year – Large
- Awarded for exceptional performance in profitability and impact on the economy over the last 12 months. Turnover should be more than £10 million.
- Business Of The Year – Medium
- Awarded for exceptional performance in profitability and impact on the economy over the last 12 months. Turnover should be between £2 million and £10 million.
- Business Of The Year – Small
- Awarded for exceptional performance in profitability and impact on the economy over the last 12 months. Turnover should be up to £2 million.
- Business Person Of The Year
- Awarded for exceptional personal contribution to the success of a company.
- Customer Care Plus
- Awarded to businesses providing more than simply good customer service or satisfaction. It rewards firms that show how they put their customers at the heart of everything they do.
- Contribution To The Community
- This award will be given to the business which honours the tradition of putting something back into the community.
- PEOPLE development
- Awarded for demonstrating a real commitment to the training and personal development of employees.
- Environmental Achievement
- Companies must demonstrate a commitment to environmental sustainability and, in doing so, a contribution to Peterborough’s growing reputation as the UK’s Environmental Capital City.
- Retail Award
- Businesses must demonstrate the highest standards of customer care, after-sales service and quality control.
