Hampton Hargate Primary School Notice is given in accordance with section 19(1) of the Education and Inspections Act 2006 that Peterborough City Council intends to make a prescribed alteration to Hampton Hargate Community School, Hargate Way, Hampton Hargate, Peterborough PE7 8BZ from 01 September 2009.
The proposal is to grow the school, year on year, to become a full three form entry school by September 2014 and to construct the necessary new classrooms and infrastructure for the school to function as a full three form entry school.
It is proposed that there would be 30 additional pupils in Reception and Year 1 in September 2009, and then 30 additional pupils in each Reception Year until a full cohort of 90 pupils in each year group is achieved.
The current capacity of the school is 450 and the proposed capacity will be 630. The current number of pupils registered at the school is 449. The current admission number for the school is 60 and the proposed admission number will be 90.

Consultation on Peterborough City Council's Admissions Policy and Published Admission Numbers for the September 2010 Admissions round Peterborough City Council is now consulting on the admissions arrangements for September 2010 which will apply to its Community and Voluntary Controlled schools. The consultation period runs from 1 January 2009 to 1 March 2009.
