Buckden caned by Asim's six of the best

TEENAGE tearaway Asim Amin was the toast of Castor after a remarkable spell of bowling at the weekend.
The 14 year-old is only allowed to bowl five overs in a spell, but he used them to devastating effect in Castor seconds' Hunts Division Four match with Buckden seconds. Amin took 6-4 as Buckden were shot out for 47 on the way to a 10-wicket hammering.
Castor remain second as leaders Werrington enjoyed two wins of vastly different proportions. On Saturday they eased past Orton Park seconds by one wicket before smashing Buckden seconds by 241 runs.
Werrington's batsmen cracked 46 fours and two sixes in their 45-over total of 326-8 against Buckden. Ijaz Masood, Richard Gill and Ghafoor Rehman all recorded quickfire half-centuries.
Orton Park's first team were also involved in a thriller as they secured a last-ball win over Dean in Division One. The city side required two from the final ball of the match to overhaul the home side's 237-6, but Tim Starmer promptly smacked it for four to ensure Kasim Ikhlaq's 75 wasn't in vain.
Barnack stay top of the top flight following their comfortable five-wicket win over Burghley Park and Huntingdon maintained their challenge by thrashing Ramsey seconds by 148 runs.
Ufford Park's seven-game winning streak in Division Two was ended in dramatic fashion. Old Eastonians won by one-wicket in the final over of the match to mar outstanding individual efforts from Ross Keymer and Andy Larkin.
Keymer batted throughout Ufford's 233-4 for 119 not out, adding 133 for the second wicket with Tom Hart (70). Larkin then took a hat-trick late on in the hosts' reply, but to no avail.
Richard Witt was another high scorer to finish on the losing side. He cracked a brilliant 132 not out for Market Deeping seconds, but the team bottom of South Lincs Division One were beaten again, by Belton Park.
Simon Juckes was a happier man in Division Two as his four wickets and top score of 41 saw Spalding to a 62-run win over Caythorpe.
Cavaliers had 47 overs to score 97 for victory against Sleaford's Sunday side, but incredibly finished short on 87-9.
Oundle were left frustrated by the negative approach of Long Buckby in Northants Division Three. Another high-class knock of 142 from Martin Van Der Merwe and 77 from skipper James Chambers enabled Oundle to declare on 301-4 after just 45 overs.
Buckby were left with 55 overs to bat, but never threatened to make a game of it, closing on a miserable 121-8.
Oundle seconds kept up their push for top spot in Division 10 with a thrilling four-run win over Little Harrowden. Harrowden were 143-1 chasing 187-8, but collapsed in astonishing fashion to finish on 183-9.
Peter Foster's four wickets proved crucial as did 77 from Steve Brooks.
Bourne seconds beat Castor seconds by 40 runs in Rutland Division Six. Tom Bentley bowled superbly for Bourne to pick up 5-23.
