Company car driver is a light-hearted business feature where we ask a company car driver in the Peterborough area to answer a number of questions on topics of the moment. This week we feature James Berry, of Park Inn, Peterborough.
Q: Do you think the Government should guarantee all savings other than the first £50,000?

A: Absolutely – unless they are happy for me to not guarantee my mortgage or loan repayments to them.

Q: Sales of new cars have fallen greatly – are you putting off buying your new car?

A: Yes – I think you are always wary of getting value for money.

Q. Do you think people are being talked into a recession?

A: I think we were talked out of it during the last Labour government under Blair's reign, although the signs were already there. Now we are talked into "credit crunch", when, in reality, we have been in recession for months.

Q: What, if any, cost cutting measures have you introduced at home?

A: I hid Mrs Berry's purse
